Introduction

The Loom Editor allows you to create and edit a definition of the loom, In which we can also build a loom from one or more jacquards and assign a purpose for each hook on the loom. The following picture illustrates the different parts of the Loom Editor main window:

The Main Window

The various commands of the View menu allow you to customize the main view as you wish. In addition dialog boxes and toolbars can be moved to new locations by drag and drop.

Five toolbars are available in the Weave Editor:

1. The Standard Toolbar

2. The Drawing Toolbar

3. The Legend Toolbar

4. The Jacquard Info Toolbar

5. The Manual Layout toolbar

6. The Status bar
